Caltech Celebrates 2009 All-Sports Awards

Saturday, May 30th found the Caltech Athletic Program celebrating their 15th annual Caltech All-Sports Awards Ceremony at the Braun Athletic Center.  Wendell Jack, Director of Athletics opened the awards presentation and turned the master of ceremonies duties over to senior student-athletes Zack Higbee and Kevin Noertker.  Caltech President Jean-Lou Chameau, Vice-President for Student Affairs Anneila Sargent along with Dean of Students John Hall were all on hand to serve as presenters along with Caltech coaches Rolando Uribe (soccer), Sandra Marbut (women's basketball), John D'Auria (baseball) and Clint Dodd (swimming and diving).

A special note of thanks to everyone that helped with this annual event.  Coach Mandy Gamble again worked her magic in producing a spectacular video highlight presentation set to music.  The Awards Committee of Coach Julie Levesque and Oliver Eslinger along with Assistant Athletic Trainer Erin Dunn and Assistant AD Carlos Basulto truly contributed to a great celebration of athletics at Caltech.
