Jack Goodwillie initially joined Caltech on November 1, 2016 in the short-lived role of Sports Information Assistant prior to being promoted to Director of Sports Information and Marketing in September 2017. He oversees all things sports information, marketing, multimedia, social media, public relations and gameday operations.
Prior to Caltech, Goodwillie spent 16 months with The Philadelphia Inquirer where he worked as a staff writer, agate clerk, web content producer and the primary contact for high school sports in Southeastern Pennsylvania and South-Central New Jersey. He also spent a full calendar year with Germantown Academy, where sports information became a realized passion of his. As GA's Sports Information Assistant, Goodwillie played a key role in the promotion and marketing of the school's athletic teams while keeping steady records and maintaining a regular presence at home games and major events. Goodwillie was also a regular contributor to CityofBasketballLove.com throughout 2014 and 2015 and has covered home games for each of Philadelphia's "City Six" programs.
Goodwillie graduated from Temple University in May 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a minor in U.S. History. Originally from Reading, Pa., Goodwillie currently resides in Pasadena.
