Baseball Set To Open SCIAC Campaign...

Rain hampered the opening of SCIAC play on the road at CMS, Friday, February 22nd.  So now the Beavers will host Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges in a doubleheader at Caltech today, Saturday, 23rd at 11am and 2pm to open the 2008 SCIAC season. 

The Beavers have been dogged by foul weather in Southern California all preseason, it forced the delay of the opening of their exhibition season as well.  Sweeping a twinbill over  Dodgertown West and then outscoring the Alumni Team 12-1, Coach D'Auria and company felt ready to get it going.  Caltech hit a snag when visiting La Sierra University put up 23 to the Beavers 3.
