The Caltech men’s and women’s swim & dive teams have been recognized as College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Teams. Freshman Tom Gallup also was named an individual Scholar All-American.
Caltech swim & dive freshman Thomas Gallup placed 11th in the nation in the 100-yard breaststroke at the NCAA Division III National Championships, scoring the first points for Caltech at the national meet since 1983.
CLAREMONT, Calif. – Freshmen Alex Moraru and Thomas Gallup keyed a late rally for Caltech men’s swim & dive in a double dual meet at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges and with Occidental College which came down to the last event.
Fresh off of setting the Caltech men's swimming & diving 100-yard breaststroke record, freshman Thomas Gallup continued his run of dominance by winning three events for the Beavers in their Saturday SCIAC meet at Chapman University.
The Caltech men's and women's swimming and diving teams will once again join a group of nearly 200 teams across the country as participants in the 11th Annual Ted Mullin "Leave it in the Pool – Hour of Power" Relay for Sarcoma Research this Tuesday, Nov. 8.
PASADENA, Calif. – With a combined 21 program records last season, the Caltech men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams have carried significant momentum through the past two years. They are poised to continue their climb up the SCIAC standings thanks to returning 100 percent of their individual points at the conference Championships along with the addition of several impact newcomers.
