Men's Polo Ends 2018 with Strong First Half at Chapman

ORANGE, Calif. (Nov. 12, 2018) – The Caltech men's water polo team concluded the 2018 season on the road at Chapman University on Saturday.

The Beavers' greatest moments came in the first half, which they ended trailing the Panthers by just two goals in what at the time was a low-scoring affair. Sophomore Steven Csaposs (Davis, Calif. / Davis) finished the season with three goals in the final game to bring his total to 69 on the year, a new personal record. Classmate Alex Janosi (Ann Arbor, Mich. / Dexter) added two goals, while sophomore Rahul Arun (Buffalo Grove, Ill. / Adlai E Stevenson) and freshman Austin Harvard (Lake Forest, Calif. / El Toro) rounded out the scoring for Caltech. Arun, along with senior Eshan Govil each led the visitors in the assist department with two apiece.

Head Coach Jon Bonafede and the Beavers will return next season when they will be looking to add more SCIAC wins to their collection.
