In a competitive field two of our female divers placed amongst the top 8 divers on 3 - Meter, with Sophomore Peggy Allen securing a solid 5th place and Sophomore Erin Zampaglione placing 8th with 11 divers overall.

On 1-Meter, Erin tied for 9th place, closely followed by Peggy in 10th place. Freshman Jessica Swallow secured 13th place while Sophomore Stacey Levine reached a solid 17th place in a field of 19 divers.

On the men's side,

Freshman Justin Johnson and his teammates just returned from SCIAC's championship with an impressive performance on both the 1 meter board and the 3-Meter board.

On 1-Meter Justin placed first, leaving two seniors and long standing divers in 2nd and 3rd place. With dives of great difficulty, such as the Reverse triple somersault, or complex twisters, he secured his first place with a qualifying score for Nationals.

Teammates Ryan Lanman, senior, placed 10th overall with a consistent performance, while freshman Richard Gianforte, only 4 weeks into his diving career placed 13th in a field of 16 divers.

On 3- Meter Justin reached a 20 point lead to the 3rd place finisher and placed 2nd overall. Teammate Ryan Lanman placed 10th overall during preliminaries with a great performance.

Congratulations to all divers.  What an impressive performance by each and everyone!

GO TECH!!!
