Beavs Set for Final Competition of 2009 Season
On Saturday, May 9th, Coach Julie Leveque and the crew will head to neighboring Eagle Rock and the campus of Occidental College for the 2009 Occidental Invitational which will be the final meet of the year for the Beavers and last intercollegiate track and field competition for the seniors on the team. "Everyone on the team will take this last opportunity of the year to work to on a PR" said Coach Levesque.
Saying goodbye to life as a undergraduate at Caltech as they graduate in June are: Tencia Lee and Sierra Petersen from the women's team. On the men's side: Yezdan Badrakhan, Will Gibson, Seth Hendrickson, Zack Higbee, Andrew Lai, Kelly Littlepage, Yike Lu, Peter Sadowski and Marc Sells will all be marching at commencement.
"This has been a great group and very rewarding season" commented Coach Levesque, "Our spring trip to Hawaii really brought the core of this team together".
