Caltech Athletics : Beavers Spend the Day in Claremont at Pomona-Pitzer Invite

Coaches Levesque and Jung took the men's and women's track & field team to Pomona-Pitzer for the annual P-P Invite for (complete meet results click here). Highights on the day included:

Senior, Will Gibson with a 2 second PR in the 400h 57.77 which ranks him 5th in SCIAC on the season thus far and also places him in the #7 spot on the Caltech All-Time Top 10 list for men.
Womens 4x400 had 8 second PR and won their heat in the event with a time of 4:23.19.
Junior, Bettina Chen broke into the Caltech All-Time Top 10 in the 100m and 200m events
Freshman, Daniel Chun had a 30 sec. PR in the 5000m event

Up next for Caltech Track and Field is a trip to Whittier College for the SCIAC Multi-Dual Meet on Saturday, April 11th at 11:30am.
