Dick Scores First Career Goal at Redlands

REDLANDS, Calif. (Sept. 15, 2018) – Freshman midfielder Schuyler Dick (Hudson, Ohio / Walsh Jesuit) scored the first goal of her Caltech career Saturday evening when the Caltech women's soccer team traveled to the University of Redlands.

Dick's goal, a buzzer-beater of sorts came from outside the box as time expired in the first 45 minutes. The shot came off a pass from sophomore Krystin Brown (Lake Forest, Calif. / Trabuco Hills), who picked up her first assist of the season while also adding an additional two shots on goal. Sophomore goalkeeper Kali Drango (Lake Oswego, Ore. / Lake Oswego) made five saves for the visiting team over the game's entire duration.

Head Coach Taylor Houck and the Beavers will return to the road on Wednesday, Sept. 19 when they travel to Chapman University.
