LA VERNE, Calif. (Nov. 18, 2017) – Sophomore Brittany Percin (Lake Tahoe, Calif. / Stanford Online) and freshman Jessica Sun (York, Penn. / Red Lion Area Senior) combined to break three of their own program records in Saturday's SCIAC dual meet at the University of La Verne.

The versatile Percin particularly excelled in the distance freestyle realm. She kicked off her day by crushing her previous record in the 1650 Free by 14 seconds (18:36.39) and in the process broke her own record in the 1000 Free within the confines of the same race. Sun, one week removed from seizing the 100 Breast record in her collegiate debut bettered her time and record by just over one second (1:10.32).

The women's divers took the top-three spots in the 1-meter diving competition as freshman Krystin Brown (Lake Forest, Calif. / Trabuco Hills) came out on top in both the aforementioned contest and the 3-meter competition. Sophomore Mackenzie Wooten (Las Vegas, Nev. / Northwest Career and Technical Academy) and freshman Nerys Huffman (Broomfield, Colo. / Peak to Peak Charter School) finished right behind Brown in the 1-meter competition in that order.

Head Coach Paul Hughes and the Beavers will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 13 when they travel to Whittier College.
