Beavers Compete at UC Riverside Invitational
The Beavers made an early morning pilgrimage to UC
Riverside on Saturday, 9/27 for their final non-conference
tune-up before the SCIAC season begins for 2008.
Competing with the likes of BYU, University of San Diego and UNLV,
the men finished 23rd of 25 and the women
finished 30th of 34 in team scoring.
Caltech will now prepare for the SCIAC season which opens on
Saturday, 10/18 at La Mirada Park with the SCIAC Multi-Dual meet.
On Saturday, 9/20, Coach Scott Jung and company made their way to Santa Barbara for their second race of the 2008 campaign at the Westmont College Invitational. The men finished in 4th and the women in 8th place respectively.
Caltech opened the 2008 season on 9/6 at UC Irvine. The Caltech women placed 11th out of 16 teams scoring and the men finish 10th out of 13 scoring teams. For full meet results click here.
