Four Track & Field Athletes Earn All-Conference Nod

For their efforts at the SCIAC Championship four Caltech track & field athletes were rewarded with all-conference honors.  The SCIAC Championship on April 26 & 27 determined the best athletes in the conference.  

For the third straight season Paige Logan earned all-conference honors for her efforts in the shot put. At the championships she unleashed a throw of 39’7” which placed her second. It is the second time in three seasons she has earned a top two finish in the event.

Sarah Wright earned SCIAC honors for the second consecutive season for her success in the javelin completion. Wright finished third with a throw of 114’10” in earning her first podium finish at the second ending championships. The native of Strongsville, OH also earned all-conference nod for her six place finish in the 100 meter hurdles (15.80).

Eric Martin’s sixth place finish in the 1500 meter race qualified him for all-conference honors. His time of 4:03.45 earned him his first all-conference selection.

Also earning all-conference accolades in the 1500 meter race was Stephanie Reynolds. She set a personal best time of 4:48.28 to finish sixth.
