The Beavers began their day against Alverno College, rallying to win sets three and four after coming up just two points shy in each of the first two sets. Junior outside hitter Lauren Li (Bellaire, Texas / Bellaire) led Caltech with 12 kills, including four in the fourth set with the final two occurring on her team's last two points to force the fifth set.
