The men's team recorded one of the top 50 GPAs in the country at 3.40.  To be considered an All-Academic Team, programs must have compiled a cumulative GPA or 3.10 or greater and competed in at least five different meets with at least five runners representing their school at each.  Individual honorees must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 and have finished in the top 25 percent of finishers at regionals.

"These awards validate what we discuss as a team – striving for excellence in multiple realms of our lives," Head Coach Ben Raphelson beamed.  "This fall, these student-athletes managed to break program records while simultaneously achieving at a high level in the classroom. I couldn't be more proud."

Both squads enjoyed a successful fall, with senior Stephanie Reynolds (Tallahassee, Fla. / Lawton Chiles) breaking the 6k program record on the women's side at the SCIAC Multi-Duals and the men's team posting the program's best 8k average time on two occasions.

Bhagavathi ran his way to a 12th-place finish at the NCAA West Regionals to qualify for the NCAA Championship, where he placed 139th while breaking his own 8k record, set earlier in the season at the SCIAC Multi-Duals.
