The eighth-ranked Beavers have posted a solid start to the season through the first two meets with further room for improvement. Seniors Tanner Moore (Roseville, Calif. / Oakmont) and Simon Ricci (Chicago, Ill. / Latin School of Chicago) have led the team at both Redlands and Riverside, while junior Haoyuan Sun (Alexandria, Va. / Thomas Jefferson Science & Tech.)'s breakthrough performance at the latter meet has served as a high point for the program thus far.

Head Coach Ben Raphelson and the Beavers will have two weeks prepare for the Mustang Challenge in Santa Clarita, set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 28.
