Completed research at the Gladstone Institutes and UCSF in the Greene Lab, contributing to the "Lock and Block" strategy for an HIV cure... Started in the Mazmanian lab working on the link between the gut microbiome and Parkinson's disease... Previously completed a summer undergraduate research fellowshp (SURF) in the Rothenberg lab studying T-cell developmental pathways.
Personal
Is an avid runner and triathlete in his spare time... Favorite part about Caltech is the welcoming atmosphere and collaborative environment... Likes Caltech Athletics because of his teammates and because it provides structure and purpose to his day so that he can achieve both academic and athletic goals.
