Adam Alnazer

Adam Alnazer joins Caltech from Pomona-Pitzer, where he spent two seasons with the Sagehens. During that time, the men won two SCIAC titles and two NCAA West Region titles, placing 3rd and 8th at the NCAA Championships. The women finished 2nd in the conference both years, placed top four in the region, and earned a best finish of 14th at the NCAA Championships.

Before Pomona-Pitzer, Alnazer returned to his alma mater, Hartnell College, to coach and teach. He guided athletes to 8 All-Conference honors, including 4 individual conference champions, along with 4 All-Region and 2 All-American honors. All-told, Adam has coached 28 All-SCIAC athletes in cross country, 14 on both the men's and women's sides. He has coached 19 All-West Region athletes and 6 All-Americans in cross country. On the track side of things, Adam has coached 21 All-SCIAC athletes and 6 All-Americans. 

Alnazer began his running career at Hartnell, earning All-Conference honors twice, along with All-Region and All-State recognition. He transferred to Western Oregon University, where he was a two-time All-GNAC selection in the 800m and earned his B.S. in Exercise Science. He then competed at Azusa Pacific University, earning All-PacWest honors in the 800m while completing his M.S. in Physical Education with a minor in Sports Management.
