Bijan Mazaheri is in his third year working with the cross country and track & fiels programs at Caltech. He came to Caltech after a highly-decorated cross country/track & field career at Williams College (Williamstown, MA) that saw him earn 8 NCAA All-American honors. After graduating from Williams in 2016, Mazaheri spent the 2016-17 school year studying at the University of Cambridge. He is beginning work as a Ph.D student at Caltech in Computing and Mathematical Sciences.

At the 2019 Chicago Marathon, Mazaheri placed 28^th in a time of 2:15:26 which qualified him for the 2020 Olympic Marathon Trials.
