Founded a Girls STEM Club to encourage elementary age girls to pursue STEM and engage in design and build challenges... Biomedical engineering research project with Dr. XueFeng Wei, The College of New Jersey (TCNJ): Used muscle spikershield and Arduino to build a DIY prosthetic hand that opens and closes and is controlled by electrical signals from the brain, recorded electrical signals sent by the brain to the muscles, and demonstrated DIY prosthetic hand at TCNJ Biomedical Engineering Summer Camp... Physics Research Internship with Dr. Dongmei Dong, Rowan University: Participated in Dr. Dong’s research in Thin Solid Films and Electrochemistry, spanning from Renewable Energies to Sensing Applications, and conducted literature research in Atomic Force Microscopy and its use to study the nanoscale mechanical properties of charge storage materials.
