Research and STEM Activities
Conducted a summer undergraduate research fellowship (SURF) with an oncology lab outside of Caltech developing new methods for detecting circulating tumor DNA to determine immunotherapy response to certain cancers... Previously did synthetic organic chemistry work with the Stoltz group.

Academic Honors:Â National Merit Scholar, National Honor Society.
Athletic Honors:Â CSCAA Scholar All-America Honorable Mention, SCIACS 2020 3rd place 200 Butterfly.
Personal
Son of Xinghua and Yutan Tsai...brother to Shoonfon... Favorite part about Caltech is the people... Enjoys being a Caltech athlete because of the flexibility of the coaching staff to the student-athlete's own circumstances.
