Biography

Research and STEM Activities

Participated in summer undergraduate research with the Illinois Augmented Listening Laboratory at the University of Illinois where she helped to create a fully-automated room to perform auditory/acoustic experiments; the work of the research group aims to help hearing aid users/technology.

Prior to Caltech

Academic Honors: National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Good Citizen Award.

Athletic Honors: Two-year IHSA track state finalist, Four-year track letter winner, Two-year golf letter winner, Track All-Conference, IHSA All-State Academic Team.

Personal

Daughter of Tammy and Alan... Plays piano... Can ride a unicycle... Chose Caltech because she loves math and was super excited about the research opportunities... Also liked the community which provides a great environment for growth and learning.
