Research and STEM Activities
Attended various summer math programs: MathiLy-Er (Summer ‘22), AwesomeMath (Summer ‘23), GSTEM at NYU (Summer ‘24).... Conducted research at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences under the supervision of Professor Benjamin Peherstorfer... Submitted a research paper (Deep Network Approximations for Rapid Numerical Simulations of Fluid Flow) and presented my findings... Been part of math programs such as Math-M-Addicts (MMA), a rigorous math program in NYC taught by former Olympiad winners where one has to test annually to maintain/advance level in MMA since 6th grade. In junior year was selected to teach younger students at MMA and assist the head teacher in providing instruction to over 30 middle school students.

Personal
Plays the piano and flute... Fluent in Romanian (in addition to French and English) conversant in Japanese.... Chose Caltech for its countless research opportunities, amazing location, rigorous academics, and welcoming faculty.
