Henry Ford II Scholar Award... Gordon McClure Memorial Communications Prize in English... Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Loschke SURF Fellow... Completed research with Hong Kong Agriculture, Fisheries, and Conservations Department where she conducted GIS analysis on revenue losses incurred by the local fishing industry due to the shifting marine border separating China and Hong Kong... Programmed a site selection map based on an ocean currents model and public beach clean-up data to identify marine debris and pollution areas... Completed internship at the University of Hong Kong under Prof. Christelle Not studying microplastic filtration using titrations and heating techniques and analyzing field samples of beach soil layers... Was a peer tutor for Math and Science, organizing review sessions for honors and regular precalculus.

Daughter of Sarah and Stephen... Older sister to Jenevive and Ashley... Trilingual in English, Korean, Chinese... Likes scuba diving... Chose Caltech because she wanted to pursue STEM in an environment that both offers research opportunities and allows her to continue swimming competitively.
