Research and STEM Activities
Conducted research at the Brookhaven National Laboratory with Lijuan Ryan and Daniel Brandenburg on the search for dark photons to prove the existence of dark matter; the existence of dark matter will help explain many universal phenomena and open the door to many new discoveries. co-wrote a scientific paper that is currently in review to be published in the Physical Review... Served as Vice President of his HS Math Mates Club, which tutored students throughout the district in different levels of math.Â
Prior to Caltech
Academic Honors: National Merit Semifinalist... AP Scholar with Distinction... National Honor Society... Tri-M Honor Society... 2nd Place Regionals in DECA.
Athletic Honors: 4th Place States Relay in 2022... County Championships Team in 2019, 2020, and 2021... 3rd Place at Counties in 50 Freestyle in 2021.
Personal
Chose Caltech because of the many research opportunities and the small community; also appreciates the fascinating classes and the freedom to explore different majors, as well as the welcoming community... Plays piano and violin... Loves to crochet.
