Biography

Research and STEM Activities

Worked as a research assistant for the Urban Horticulture group at the Texas AM AgriLife Extension and Research Center in Dallas, where she studied closed environment agriculture, including aquaponic and hydroponic systems... In 2022, placed in the top 10 internationally for the Technology Student Association Biotechnology event as part of her school team in which they comprised a solution for blue-green algae; they also placed in the top 10 internationally at the 2024 Technology Student Association Biotechnology event, where she helped comprise a solution for microplastics in bodies of water... Served as president of her school's Girls in STEM, Girls Who Code and Chemistry Club... Was an officer for her high school's Engineering and Computer Science clubs.
