Research and STEM Activities
Completed a summer undergraduate research fellowshi (SURF) with the Bjorkman lab this past summer... Previously completed a SURF at the Bronner Lab... As a junior research associate, aided researchers from the NJIT Center for Solar-Terrestrial Research in producing a model that portrays the coronal heating problem, contributing to a project named “Heating of Magnetically Closed Solar Corona"... As an intern for Bionex Pharmaceuticals, aided scientists in the development and testing of products, creating diagnostic smell kits and nasal sprays for COVID patients and testing aspects of transdermal patches that help ease depression symptoms.

Likes Caltech because of the diversity in backgrounds and unique perspectives from which she can learn... Also appreciates the supportive network and the many opportunities to learn... Enjoys being a Caltech athlete because of the team aspect, specifically within her sport.
