  • Title
    Volunteer Assistant Coach
Aiden Williams joins Caltech for the 2024-25 season after a standout career at Occidental. He is tasked with player development, practice and game strategy, and scouting, and his knowledge of SCIAC competition and playing experience will make an immediate impact in Pasadena.

Over his college basketball career, Williams, who majored in East Asian Studies and studied Mandarin Chinese, focused on the intersections of the Chinese and American economies and their political implications within the NBA. On the court, he averaged 43% from three on over 400 total attempts while tallying 14.7 ppg his senior year, including a career-high 32 points in his final game — against Caltech.

'We decided to bring Aiden onto the staff after he almost single-handedly beat us last year,' Coach Eslinger joked.

Known for his dedication to personal basketball training and skills development, Williams has spent years honing his game and is passionate about helping players reach their potential.

Prior to Caltech, Williams, who grew up in Portland, Oregon, was a decorated high school player, leading his team to the 2019 OSAA 6A State Championship and setting the Jesuit High School record for all-time three-pointers.
