Chelsea Groves joins the coaching staff as the new Assistant Cross Country and Track & Field Coach, bringing with her a strong background in collegiate athletics and a passion for athlete development.
Chelsea began her collegiate career at SCIAC rival Occidental College, where she was a two-sport athlete, competing in both varsity basketball and track & field. Under the leadership of Head Coach Robert Bartlett and Throws Coach Katie Reichert, she excelled in the throws events, capturing the SCIAC Championship title in the women’s shot put in 2025.
Chelsea earned her bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Occidental, balancing the demands of a rigorous academic program with her commitment to athletics. She is excited to bring her experience, energy, and competitive drive to the program and looks forward to supporting student-athletes both on and off the field.
