Heather Morgan-Strasser began working at Caltech in May of 2012.

The native of Elizabethton, TN is certified by the American Red Cross in multiple areas of safety and water instruction.

Morgan-Strasser's background is in the field of recreation and aquatics. She has over ten years of experience managing and operating an aquatics and recreation department.

Prior to coming to Pasadena, she served as the recreation director for the city of Hondo (TX) where she was responsible for all aspects of the city's recreation department. Morgan-Strasser also spent nine years as the aquatics supervisor for Johnson City (TN).

She graduated with a dual bachelors degree in psychology and human development from East Tennessee State University in 1999.
