Jameson O’Neil joined Caltech as Sports Information Assistant in January 2023.
Prior to filling the role at the Institute, O’Neil worked as a broadcast producer and graphics coordinator at Tourbeau Sports Group, where he produced and directed 2-3 live sports broadcasts a week for various clients (e.g., UC Riverside, Loyola Marymount, NJCAA) across various networks (ESPN+, Stadium, WCC Network). He also created and executed live graphics for Tourbeau’s streams.
O’Neil began his work at Tourbeau while attending Loyola Marymount University, where he graduated in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in English. While a student at LMU, he worked as a Sports Information Assistant, assisting with live broadcasts, stat input, and digital marketing projects. He also helped with gameday setup, stat calling and commentating, among other duties. Before his time in the athletic department, O’Neil spent two years writing and editing for LMU’s student-newspaper, the Los Angeles Loyolan.
He is very excited to be a part of the growth of Caltech Athletics.
