CLAREMONT, Calif. – Kelly Halamek tallied 10 kills while
teammate Megan Levonian tallied a .545 hitting percentage as
Claremont-Mudd Scripps beat Caltech 3-0 (25-9, 25-17, 25-8) in
SCIAC women's volleyball action at Ducey Gym.
The Athenas (16-5, 7-3) recorded seven and 11 team kills
respectively in games one and two while holding Caltech to a
negative hitting percentage in each of those games. In the third
game CMS had 11 team kills and a .395 hitting percentage in posting
the sweep.
Ying Ying
Tran had a match high 13 digs while Teri Juarez had
eight digs along the back row for Caltech. Paige Logan tallied
a team high six kills for the Beavers (1-14, 0-9).
