PASADENA, Calif. – Jackie Hamilton posted a match high 15
kills to pace Redlands to a 3-0 (25-9, 25-7, 25-9) victory over
Caltech in a SCIAC women's volleyball contest Friday evening
at Braun Athletic Center.
As a team the visitors posted a .429 team hitting percentage for
the match and never hit below .417 in any of the three games.
In addition to Hamilton's efforts, Redlands (17-9, 5-6
SCIAC) got a strong performance from Dominique Atherley who
recorded nine kills and a match high .615 hitting
percentage.
Caltech (1-15, 0-10) gave a strong effort along the back row as
they recorded 40 team digs in the loss. That number equals the most
team digs in SCIAC match for the Beavers this season. Katie Peters
had a team high 13 digs while Ying Ying Tran also posted a double
figure dig effort with 10.
The home squad's defensive efforts gave their front line
86 attack attempts but the Beavers could only convert those

this season for Caltech in a conference match.
