Beavers Fall in Three to WCB

LANCASTER, Calif. -- In their first road contest of the 2011 season, the Caltech volleyball team fell to West Coast Baptist 3-0 (25-11, 25-17, 25-15) on Thursday evening.

Leading the way for the Beavers offense was Terri Juarez who had five kills in her 16 attempts. The senior also tied for team high honors with three service aces.

Katie Ching produced three kills in her second career match while Joy Lu added a personal best three kills in the contest. Erin Hoops dished out nine assists.

Rebekah Kitto had a personal best three service aces on the evening.

The Beavers offense struggled with 19 attack errors in 57 attempts. As a team Caltech had 12 kills in those attempts.
