Beavers Finish Three Match, Three Day Stretch

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Caltech women's volleyball team traveled to Occidental on Saturday evening to complete a stretch of three matches in three days. Unfortunately for the Beavers the end result remained the same as Occidental posted a 3-0 (25-9, 25-11, 25-8) win.

Teri Juarez had a team best six kills on 20 attempts. It is the third time this season the senior has led the team in kills. Paige Logan had five kills.

Rachel Hess recorded a personal high nine assists for the Beavers.

The Tigers, who were previously ranked in the nation's top 25, used 14 service aces  and a .556 team hitting percentage to post the sweep. Logan Boyer-Hayse had a team best eight kills on nine attempts to pace the Occidental offense.

The Beavers will host Cal Lutheran on Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m.
