PASADENA, CA - The ClaremontMuddScripps women's volleyball team put together an efficient offensive performance in knocking off Caltech 3-0 (25-7, 25-7, 25-14) on Friday evening.

Entering the match as the nation's 25th ranked squad, the Athenas posted a .530 hitting percentage (39 kills, four errors, 66 attempts) in the victory. Leading the way for the visitors were a pair of players. Both Nicole Kerkhof and Aurdrey Breitwiesser notched 12-kill efforts. The duo hit .647 and .476 respectively.

Caltech's Catherine Jamshidi had a team high six kills while Paige Logan and Rebekah Kitto chipped in four kills each.

The Beavers entertain non-conference foe Mills on Saturday for a pair of contests. The first match begins at 1 p.m. with the second one slated for a 6 p.m. start.
