Yang, Lauinger Reach Double-Digit Digs at Cal Lutheran

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (Oct. 27, 2017) – Freshman Isabell Yang (Arcadia, Calif. / Arcadia) and sophomore Alexa Lauinger (Ortonville, Mich. / Brandon) each registered at least 10 digs in Caltech women's volleyball's trip to SCIAC foe California Lutheran University on Friday evening.

Both primarily outside hitters, Yang ended the three-set match with 12 digs while Lauinger came up with 11. Lauinger also led the Beavers with five kills and led the overall match in total attacks. Freshman Krystyna Maruszko (Redondo Beach, Calif. / Marymount) contributed three kills herself, the team's second highest individual total against the 15-10 Regals.

Head Coach Tom Gardner and the Beavers will turn around quickly with a tri-match against the University of Redlands and Life Pacific University.
