PASADENA (Sept. 25, 2018) – The Caltech volleyball team put forth a competitive battle with defending Division III national champion Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges at home on Tuesday evening.

Led by freshmen Alexandra Frymire (Dallas, Texas / Greenhill) and Hannah Fan (Saratoga, Calif. / Saratoga), the Beavers found themselves up on the Athenas at 11-10 early in the set. Frymire hit the 10 assist mark while adding six kills and Fan notched four kills, finishing points on a quarter of her attacks.

Head Coach Tom Gardner and the Beavers will hit the road on Friday when they take on the University of Redlands (0-5 SCIAC) at 7 p.m.
