COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Jan. 29, 2020) – The Caltech women's swimming & diving team has been recognized for Scholar All-America by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America for the fourth consecutive year.
The CSCAA Scholar All-America program recognizes teams across all three NCAA division and the NAIA which have compiled a minimum 3.0 grade-point average over each semester of the academic calendar. The women's team pulled together an outstanding 3.52 cumulative GPA, a .08 improvement on last year's, to earn a place on the list. Caltech is set to participate in its final tune-up before the 2020 SCIAC Championships when they travel to the University of La Verne on Saturday, Feb. 1 to face off with the Leopards in addition to Westmont College.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
