Jana Woo (Saratoga, Calif. Monta Vista) competed in the NCAA Diving Regionals for her second year in a row.
Woo took to the one-meter board on Friday and scored 360.95 points through her 11-dive program to take 11
th place out of a field of 28 divers from across the region, moving up one position from last year's regionals finish on the one-meter board. In her second dive of the day she scored higher than all other divers in the competition.
On Saturday she returned to her favorite event in the three-meter dive competition, scoring 366.85 and taking seventh place out of 22 competitors. After adjusting her program such that eight of her 11 dives were a 2.00 degree of difficulty or above, she took the top scores in rounds 10 and 11.
Woo currently holds Caltech's all-time record scores on both the one-meter and three-meter boards and looks to continue making history in her future seasons with the Beavers.
