THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - The Caltech men's basketball team continued its SCIAC campaign Saturday night at California Lutheran University, taking on a relentless Kingsmen team on their home floor at Gilbert Arena.

First-year Stuart Florescu (Toronto, Ont. / Crescent School) led the Beavers in scoring with 12 points off the bench, including a pair of three-pointers. Florescu additionally blocked a shot and grabbed three rebounds in his 23 minutes.

Following in the points column was junior Noah Hicks (Oxford, Ga. / George Walton Academy), with nine points from the field; Hicks also led the team in assists with three.

Sophomore Matt Cantor (Bayside, N.Y. / Townsend Harris) snagged a career-high eight rebounds, four each on offense and defense, along with four points, one steal and no turnovers conceded.

Head Coach Dr. Oliver Eslinger and the Beavers will head back to Occidental College on Monday, Jan. 20 to face Occidental College.
