THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Caltech Women's Soccer battled hard against the Cal Lutheran Regals on Saturday afternoon, falling short 3-0 against a formidable opponent. It was a physical and high-energy match with a total of 12 fouls handed out, six for each team.
The Beavers recorded two shots in the game, both on goal. The first shot came at the 10th minute by junior
Alexa Baxter, and the second came from senior
Meher Banik at the 26th minute. Both shots were saved by Regals goalkeeper Kelsey Slaugh.

Sophia Steven made a season-high seven saves during this match and played the full 90 minutes. Despite the loss, Caltech Women's Soccer is preparing for a win when they return home to face the CMS Athenas on Wednesday afternoon.
