Caltech Men's Basketball clashed with UC Santa Cruz in a back-and-forth affair at Braun Gymnasium in Pasadena Saturday.
The two sides were evenly matched to start the game, which featured nine lead changes in the first half. A three-pointer by sophomore Josh Balami (Woodbury, Minn. / Math and Science Academy) put the Beavers ahead 25-22 with 6:12 remaining in the first half. Balmi finished the contest with 19 points and three assists.
First-year Dorian Glogovac (Vancouver, B.C. St. / George's School Vancouver) led all players with 23 points in the contest. He contributed defensively with three steals and six rebounds. Sophomore Chase Williamson (McDonough, Ga. / Union Grove) led the Beavers on the boards with nine rebounds.
Caltech continues the homestand vs Whitman Monday, Nov. 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Braun Gymnasium.
