Game Recap: Women's Water Polo |

Caltech Women's Water Polo Confronts No. 4 Regals

PASADENA, Calif. – Caltech Women's Water Polo took on a formidable conference rival Wednesday night, facing off against the No. 4 Regals of Cal Lutheran in a SCIAC bout.  

Junior utility Maya Dickson (Atlanta, Ga. / North Atlanta) met the moment with her ninth hat trick of the season. She now has hat tricks in her last three contests and multiple goals in her last six games dating back to her four-point night against Redlands March 26. She now has 50 goals on the season and paces the Beavers with 68 points. 

First-year attacker Yolotzin Subdias (Los Angeles, Calif. / Eagle Rock) netted two goals of her own against Cal Lutheran. She also assisted on a Dickson goal to join the latter with three points in the match to lead the Beavers.

Dickson additionally led both teams in the steals column with four takeaways; teammates Mahi Ravi (Mountain View, Calif. / Saratoga), Stephanie Wallen (Miami, Fla. / Ransom Everglades) and Emma Titus (Hood River, Ore. / Hood River Valley) picked up two steals each.

The Beavers strength of schedule increases again in their next match, a road tilt against No. 3 Chapman University at 11:00am Saturday, April 19.
