Box Score Caltech Women's Volleyball saw positive contributions from throughout the lineup in a tough matchup against Redlands in Redlands, Calif. On Thursday night.

A bright spot for the Beavers was a balanced distribution game. First-year setter Katie Mystkowski (Newcastle, Wash. / Overlake School) and sophomore setter Emma Berg (Casselberry, Fla. / Lyman High School) led the team with nine assists each. The assists facilitated the continued offensive growth of sophomore outside / opposite Veda Chennupati (Collierville, Tenn. / Collierville High School), who tied for the team lead in kills (5) for the second consecutive game.

Caltech senior outside hitter Alize Bakker (Portland, Ore. / Westview) was the other Beaver with five kills. Bakker was often targeted on serves but was up to the challenge with a game-high 21 successful serve returns to go along with her eight digs.

Caltech returns home to host Cal Lutheran Saturday, Sept. 26 at 4:00 p.m. in Braun Gymnasium.
