PASADENA, Calif. – The Caltech women's soccer team opened the 2026 season with a battle against the Pacific University Boxers.
Caltech's
Alessio Choi-Schattle (Barrington, R.I. / Barrington) scored the team's first goal of the season in the 70th minute, with the assist coming from goalkeeper
Nora Kristufek (McKinney, Texas / McKinney).
While the Boxers ultimately prevailed 3-1, Kristufek ended the match with a career-high six saves for the Beavers.
Head Coach
Scott Wilson and the team will kick off their next match against George Fox University at home on Sunday, Sept. 6, at 12:30 p.m.
