Coach's Comments: "Jieni is just beginning her learning curve.  As an exchange student from China at BASIS, she was able to help lead their brand-new team by scoring 15 points per game and shooting 50 percent from the floor.  While she is young in her game, we expect her to make big strides and grow into a solid contributor quickly.  She adds another shooter from long range, bringing a three-point shot and one more ballhandler to help with the press and give us depth."

2016-17
Played in 22 games, averaging 4.3 minutes per game...scored four points on 2-of-17 shooting...recorded 11 rebounds, four assists and one steal.

Resarch and STEM Experience 
Interned as a Database Engineer at China Telecom...Started the Computer Science Club to promote and teach coding in Shanghi.

Prior to Caltech
China National Level 2 Athlete...Team captain of BASIS Tucson as an exchange student...Helped her team claim second place in the Southern Arizona Charter School League.
