Research and STEM activities
Microsoft ASCIT President internship during the summer of 2017...Interned at a machine-learning specialized startup lab the summer of 2016...Took an intro to fluid mechanics course through Academic Connections at UCSD...Studied structural engineering under Wil Srubar at EPGY Stanford...Launched a startup called collabwear with the help of Bill Aulet and Laurie Stach at MIT Launch.

Prior to Caltech
Four-year varsity letterwinner in high school...Named All-League Emerald City twice...Team captain as a senior...Career blocks school record holder...Played club volleyball for seven years...President of the Overlake Engineering and Launch clubs...Earned the Washington State Honors Award...A National AP Scholar and National Merit commended student...Recipient of a Math kangaroo-Washington State Award...Runner-up to NCWIT in the Computing Award...Placed first in both the Washington state Public Speaking and Essay Writing Bees.
