Research and STEM Activities
Conducted research on the application of the quantum approximate optimization algorithm to quantum maxcut, finding ground states of the quantum Heisenberg model... Conducted research on the application and analysis of CPROPS and dendrogram cloud decomposition algorithms on high-redshift dwarf galaxy NGC 4501 to understand cloud properties and their contribution to star formation (working with the DAWN institute in Copenhagen, Denmark)... Applied a neural style transfer architecture on videos to minimize frame-to-frame style discrepancies that occur between adjacent frames.

Academic Honors: Presidential Scholar Semifinalist, AIME qualifier, USNCO alternate, National Merit Finalist.
Athletic Honors: 4-star recruit, Three time New York Ivy Prep League champions, Three time New York First Team All-Ivy.
Personal
Son of Benazir and Kannan... Enjoys the performing arts and plays multiple instruments, including violin, piano and guitar... Chose Caltech because he likes physics... Favorite part about Caltech is the close-knit community... Enjoys being a Caltech athlete because of how supportive the team is of each other on and off the court.
