Tasked with, designed and built a portable cytometer that was 27 times cheaper and four times lighter than previous model...Designed light scatter models for nanoparticle detection and developed quantum dots as fluorescent analogs for liquid biopsies...Applied previous research into light scatter to develop a new type of highly efficient and super-bright labels for exosome detection by flow cytometry that are detectable by both fluorescence and scatter...Co-authored a paper published in Scientific Reports, with two more papers pending publication...Received patent for result of quantum dot research (US 62/411, 324), with more pending...Business analytics intern at E15 Group for Levy Restaurants, where he developed a machine-learning algorithm to predict demand on concession stand level at a variety of sports venues run by levy...Used machine-learning model to allow for the development of a system to find the optimal staffing of a game, saving on average $5-15k per game with total annual saving for each venue over $800,000 for teams including the Dodgers, Nationals and Cubs (more pending)...Worked with teams to implement a new system to help them understand business strategy behind the model, further refining to help perfect pricing models...Co-op student at JPL over the summer and during school year, working on the Mars 2020 and Europa Lander missions.
