Research and STEM Activities

Worked for the Milwaukee Brewers in their Baseball Operations Department, working in Research and Development making models to evaluate major league players... President of Page House... Had a paper published on Explainable AI and its use in spacecraft... Researched Lower Body Usage and its effect on injury risks in pitchers during senior year... Completed customer success internship at mLevel, a corporate learning company based in Atlanta... Completed summer undergraduate research fellowship (SURF) in Caltech's Reisman Lab and created a machine-learning program that mines reaction data from organic chemistry literature... Researched machine learning at JPL; created a system and procedure to examine and explain predictions outputted by neural networks, then translated information for human-interpretation.

Honors: Wheeler High School Positive Athlete Nominee, National Merit Scholar, National AP Scholar, Four-Time Principal's Honor Roll, National Honor Society.

Personal

Son of Naresh and Swati... Older brother to Saanvi... Favorite part about Caltech is how it is unique, how close everyone is, and how willing everyone is to help out, which creates a sense of community far from home... Enjoys being a Caltech athlete because it is an escape from the rigors of school, and because the teamwork and camaraderie that the team provides is wonderful and something that can be hard to find.
